  • Maintain approximately 450 acres of developed parklands
  • 100 acres of athletic fields - 37 athletic fields
  • Maintain approximately 9 miles of bike/walking trails
  • Maintain 28 playgrounds with 78 play structures
  • Maintain 22 tennis courts at 5 locations
  • Maintain 24 basketball courts at 14 locations
  • Maintain 14 racquetball courts & 6 shuffleboard courts
  • Maintain 22 picnic areas
  • Maintains grounds around 22 municipal buildings - Swimming Pools, GPD, City Hall, Plaza, Administrative Offices, MLK center
  • Maintains 12 parking lots in the downtown city area and NW 5th Avenue area
  • Plant 1000 + trees per year - maintain approximately 26,000
  • Fleet comprised of approximately 90 various pieces of large equipment and vehicles.
