Small Business Diversity Spotlight: April 2018 Small Business of the Month

4/11/2018

Congratulations to the April 2018 Small Business of the Month - Cleaning Genie! Charlotte Mendez believes strongly in helping those who are in the "in-between" places in life, such as displaced homemakers and widows/widowers.  Using her background in social work, Mendez skillfully integrates those who may be working through a life change and seeking re-entry into the workforce. As owner/operator of Cleaning Genie, LLC, she helps her team members attain or regain their dignity by providing intensive job training as well as assisting them in moving beyond their current circumstances.

A firm believer in giving back to her community, Mendez and her team members volunteer for SIRA,  and Cleaning for a Reason, which provides free housekeeping for cancer patients.  Not only is altruism good for the public, but it builds morale and a strong team.  Moving forward, Charlotte Mendez is building up her employee base and is grateful to existing clients while gearing up for new accounts.

Specializing in thorough cleaning services, Cleaning Genie LLC provides premier Residential and Building services throughout north central Florida. The courteous and professionally trained staff is fast and efficient.  Knowledgeable in office and restroom cleaning, floor maintenance and care, OSHA regulations and security, Cleaning Genie's team provides consistent quality service, including commercial offices, residential developments, medical buildings, automotive dealerships, hotels and resorts, churches, schools, banks and private residences.
