The Thomas Center Galleries announces the opening of the Showcasing Student Art - Elementary Schools Exhibition presented by the Alachua County Public Schools Visual Arts Program, which is scheduled to run Saturday, April 5-Saturday, May 3 in the Thomas Center Mezzanine Gallery. The exhibition includes 88 works of art that were created during the 2013-2014 school year in Alachua County elementary schools by students who were selected by 29 teachers from 26 participating schools.

The Thomas Center Galleries invite the community to the opening reception for its new ART THRU ARCHITECTURE The Work of Ron Haase exhibition Friday, March 28, 2014 from 7 to 10 p.m. The ART THRU ARCHITECTURE The Work of Ron Haase exhibition will be on display in the Main Gallery from Friday, March 28-Saturday, June 21, 2014.

The Thomas Center Galleries announces the opening of the Showcasing Student Art - Secondary Schools Exhibition presented by the Alachua County Public Schools Visual Arts Program, which is scheduled to run Monday, Feb. 17-Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the Thomas Center Mezzanine Gallery. The exhibition includes 52 works of art that were created during the 2013-2014 school year in Alachua County secondary schools (grades 6-12) by students who were selected by nine teachers from six participating schools.

The Thomas Center Galleries invite the community to the opening reception for the A BARE THREAD Art Quilts by Amy Vigilante exhibition Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at 6 p.m. The reception will be followed by a concert at 7 p.m. featuring popular local singer-songwriter Ricky Kendall and his friends. Both events are free and open to the public. The A BARE THREAD Art Quilts by Amy Vigilante exhibit will be on display in the Main Gallery Jan. 10-Mar. 22, 2014.
