Community Conversation about Gainesville's Food System Scheduled for Feb. 12
The City of Gainesville is holding a community conversation about our food system, hunger and food accessibility Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 5 – 8 p.m., at the Alachua County Library Headquarters Branch (401 E. University Ave. in Gainesville).
Interested residents are invited to discuss the struggles citizens face to access the food they want and need, identify resources to overcome these struggles and brainstorm solutions based on equity and collaboration.
Light refreshments will be provided with childcare services available for up to 20 children between 2-10 years of age. Pre-registration for the event is required for those wishing to utilize childcare. The event and childcare are free of charge.
