Open House for NW Gainesville Urban Core Project

3/8/2017

The City of Gainesville wants your input in planning the future development of the Stephen Foster Neighborhood and surrounding areas (northwest urban core).  The city is hosting a community open house Wednesday, March 15, from 6-9 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Stephen Foster Elementary, which is located at 3800 NW Sixth St. Convenient parking is available in the school parking lot, next to Northwest 39th Avenue.

The open house provides the opportunity to discuss ideas for the future, as well as existing and potential projects happening in the northwest urban core. Come and have a one-on-one conversation on with city staff about the future of the community. Attendees will be asked to participate about what they would like to see in the area in the future. The results of the survey and open house will be summarized by staff and presented to the City Commission this summer.
