City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 16 to observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Residential curbside collection of refuse will not be collected on this day, and it will be on a one-day delayed schedule for the entire week. Additionally, all RTS offices will be closed; however, RTS will provide holiday service for routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at one hour intervals. No other routes will run, including UF campus and Later Gator routes. Paratransit service will be available during the same service hours.

City offices will observe the new year Monday, Jan. 2. There will be no schedule change in curbside waste collection this week. RTS will run reduced service Dec. 26-31 and its Sunday service on New Year's Day, Jan. 1. RTS will run holiday service Jan. 2 between 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711.

In observance of the holiday season, city offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26. There will not be a schedule change in curbside waste collection this week. RTS will run its holiday service on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, between 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (at one hour intervals) on routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711. Paratransit service will also be available during these times. There will be no service Dec. 25.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, city offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25. Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling and yard trash normally scheduled for Thursday will be delayed until Friday. That is the only collection day that will be affected. All bus and paratransit service will be suspended Thanksgiving Day. RTS will provide holiday bus service Friday, Nov. 25. Routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711 will run between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. All other routes will be suspended. Please plan accordingly.

City offices will observe Veterans Day Friday, Nov. 11. Residential curbside collection of refuse will not be affected by this holiday. RTS will provide holiday bus service on Veterans Day. Routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711 will run between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. All other routes will be suspended. Please plan accordingly.

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, city and GRU offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 5. RTS offices will also be closed, but will provide holiday bus service. Routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711 will run between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; no other routes will run. Paratransit service will be available during the same service hours. Residential curbside collection of garbage, recycling and yard trash will not be affected.
