Free Fridays Plaza Series Continues!
Cultural Affairs invites the public to join us for the Let’s Go Downtown Free Fridays Plaza Series, the annual series of family-friendly free concerts in the Downtown Community Plaza. Featuring some of the best local and regional musicians, this series runs through October and is highly anticipated by its many fans.     Citizens Needed to Work the Polls on Election Day
    Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Pam Carpenter invites registered voters to be a part of this year’s historic elections by working the polls.     ADA Expo Celebration 2008 on July 24
    The ADA Expo Celebration 2008 will be held at Sidney Lanier School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 24.     Quartermoon to Perform at Gainesville’s Free Fridays Concert Series on July 18
    The band Quartermoon will perform at the Downtown Plaza Free Fridays Concert Series on July 18.     Gainesville Regional Airport Neighborhood Workshop
    This public workshop will be held to discuss the next phase of the Gainesville Regional Airport (Airport) Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 150 Noise and Land Use Compatibility Study (Part 150 Study). The purpose of the meeting is to review draft noise exposure maps that have been prepared for the study.     Gainesville Clean Water Partnership to Bring the Wyland Water Exhibit on Wheels to Gainesville

    Bid Period Open for Third Model Block Home
    The Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is currently offering the third Model Block historic home for homeownership.
